Christine Chappell Accepts Position as 2012 Valley Young Professionals Chair

The Temecula Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday that Christine Chappell would be serving the Valley Young Professionals as their 2012 Committee Chair. Mrs. Chappell currently serves the organization as eMarketing Co-Chair, managing the group’s Facebook profile and email campaign.

“I was originally approached a few months ago,” says Chappell, “when a few other members inquired about my interest to fill the position. I am a strong supporter of this group and what it stands for, so saying that I’d be willing to accept the position was a no-brainer. This group has done so much for me and other young professionals in Temecula Valley…I only hope I can return the favor by serving the group as Chair.”

The Valley Young Professionals, a division of the Temecula Chamber of Commerce, was organized to provide business development skills and training for young professionals looking to grow their networking abilities and community presence. The group is heavily involved in the civic outreach, participating in fundraising events, volunteering time for local charities. This year, the group helped spearhead an effort with The Empowerment Center to launch a Junior Achievement Program for our valley’s youth. This new program successfully completed its first session at Margarita Middle School in Temecula (view North County Times Article here)
